Impact on the System

The heat dissipation performance of the device will be affected, causing the device temperature to increase. The system will not be affected within a short period of time, but this problem needs to be solved immediately.

Possible Causes

The hardware of the fan was faulty.

Procedure

1. Check whether the fan frame is installed well. Remove and insert the fan frame to ensure that it is installed well. Run the display fan command to check the status of the fan. Then, check whether the fan works properly and the alarm is cleared.

If so, go to Step 4.
If not, go to Step 2.

2. Replace the fan and check whether the alarm is cleared.

If so, go to Step 4.
If not, go to Step 3.

3. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.
