The control channel between physical entities is faulty.

In VS mode, this trap is supported only by the admin VS.

Impact on the System

1. If dual MPUs are used, no services are affected but reliability is degraded.

2. If a single MPU is deployed, the entire chassis is restarted and all services on the chassis are interrupted.

Possible Causes

Two MPUs of a CLC were connected to the same ICU.

Procedure

1. View the EntPhysicalName field in alarm information. Check which two MPUs in the CLC chassis are connected to the same ICU.

2. Connect one of the two MPUs in the CLC to the other ICU.
