Impact on the System

The system will not be affected.

Possible Causes

A neighbor deletion alarm is generated in any of the following situations:

  • (1) The target interface is deleted.
  • (2) The target subcard is removed.
  • (3) The target interface goes Down.
  • (4) The command for clearing the neighbor relationship of an interface is executed.

Procedure

After a LAD neighbor is deleted, the neighbor information needs to be delivered using a CLI or NMS command for neighbor discovery again. Other services will not be affected.
