Impact on the System

When the trap is generated, it does not affect services. If users continue to log in to the NAT device and the number of assigned IP addresses reaches the upper limit of the public address pool, the NAT device cannot assign IP addresses to users. As a result, subsequent users fail to get online.

Possible Causes

The proportion of used IP addresses to all IP addresses in a specified no-PAT address pool reached a specified threshold.

Procedure

1.Reduce used address number.

2.Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
