Impact on the System

A power failure may lead to power supply insufficiency, causing the board to reset. This indirectly affects services, and therefore this problem needs to be solved.

Possible Causes

The power module was properly installed but was not powered on.

Procedure

1. Check whether the power supply module is stably installed.

  • If so, go to Step 2.
  • If not, go to Step 6.

2. Check whether the power supply module is powered on. If the power supply module is not powered on, power on it. Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.

  • If so, go to Step 6.
  • If not, go to Step 4.

3. Perform an active/standby switchover. Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.

  • If so, go to Step 6.
  • If not, go to Step 4.

4. Replace the power supply module. Power off the faulty power module before replacing it. Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.

  • If so, go to Step 6.
  • If not, go to Step 5.

5. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

6. End.
