The nqa bier ipv6 receive rate-limit command sets an upper limit for the rate of sending BIERv6 Echo Request packets to the main control board.
The undo nqa bier ipv6 receive rate-limit command restores the default rate.
By default, 1000 BIERv6 echo request packets are sent to the main control board per second.
Usage Scenario
As NQA is deployed on the main control board of a device, both the initiator and responder of a BIERv6 ping/tracert test need to send test packets to the main control board for processing. If a large number of packets are sent to the main control board, the CPU usage of the main control board becomes high, affecting device running. To resolve this problem, run the nqa bier ipv6 receive rate-limit command to limit the rate at which BIERv6 echo request packets are sent to the main control board.
Configuration Impact
If the number of BIERv6 Echo Request packets sent to the main control board exceeds the specified upper limit, excess packets will be discarded.
