mpls rsvp-te timer retransmission

Function

The mpls rsvp-te timer retransmission command sets retransmission parameters.

The undo mpls rsvp-te timer retransmission command disables retransmission.

By default, the increment value is 1, and the interval is 5000 milliseconds.

Format

mpls rsvp-te timer retransmission { increment-value incvalue | retransmit-value retvalue } *

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
increment-value incvalue

Specifies the retransmission incremental value and the timeout period of a retransmission timer.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 10.

retransmit-value retvalue

Specifies the srefresh message retransmission interval.

The value is an integer ranging from 500 to 5000, in milliseconds.

Usage Scenario

Next retransmission interval = Current retransmission interval x (1 + Incremental value).

Prerequisites

The Srefresh mechanism has been enabled by running the mpls rsvp-te srefresh command in the MPLS view.

# Set the retransmission interval to 500 milliseconds and the incremental value to 2.
