dhcpv6 snooping enable (Interface view)

Function

The dhcpv6 snooping enable command enables DHCPv6 snooping on an interface.

The undo dhcpv6 snooping enable command disables DHCPv6 snooping on an interface.

By default, DHCPv6 snooping is disabled on an interface.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

Before configuring DHCPv6 snooping, run the dhcpv6 snooping enable command to enable DHCPv6 snooping.

To enable DHCPv6 snooping, enable DHCPv6 snooping globally and then on interfaces. Other DHCPv6 snooping functions can be configured only after DHCPv6 snooping is enabled globally.

Prerequisites

Run the dhcpv6 snooping enable command to enable DHCPv6 snooping globally.
