Function

The reset arp remote-backup command clears the original ARP entries and backs up ARP entries again.

Format

reset arp remote-backup all

Usage Scenario

To clear the original ARP entries and back up ARP entries again, run the reset arp remote-backup command.

Configuration Impact

After an ARP entry is cleared, the mapping between the IP and MAC addresses in the entry is cleared. As a result, users may fail to access the network, and services may be interrupted.
