arp-proxy

Function

The arp-proxy command enables the ARP proxy among users on the same BAS interface.

The undo arp-proxy command disables the ARP proxy among users on the same BAS interface.

By default, the ARP proxy is disabled.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

undo arp-proxy

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

The ARP proxy among users on different interfaces or VLANs is always enabled and is not affected by this command.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
