avp nas-port enable

Function

The avp nas-port enable command enables an LAC to encapsulate the NAS-Port attribute into the AVP100 field of an ICRQ message to be sent to an LNS and enables an LNS to parse the NAS-Port attribute carried in the AVP100 field of an ICRQ message received from an LAC.

The undo avp nas-port enable command disables an LAC from encapsulating the NAS-Port attribute into the AVP100 field of an ICRQ message to be sent to an LNS and disables an LNS from parsing the NAS-Port attribute carried in the AVP100 field of an ICRQ message received from an LAC.

By default, an LAC does not encapsulate the NAS-Port attribute into the AVP100 field of an ICRQ message to be sent to an LNS and an LNS does not parse the NAS-Port attribute carried in the AVP100 field of an ICRQ message received from an LAC.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Scenario

To enable an LAC to send the NAS-Port attribute to an LNS, run the avp nas-port enable command on the LAC or the LAC-side of an LTS so that the NAS-Port attribute is carried in the AVP100 field of an ICRQ message to be sent to the LNS. To enable an LNS to parse the NAS-Port attribute carried in the AVP100 field of an ICRQ message, run the avp nas-port enable command on the LNS or the LNS-side of an LTS.
