binding pw ldp vsi

Function

The binding pw ldp vsi command binds protocol VSI PWs to an L2VPN monitoring group.

The undo binding pw ldp vsi command unbinds protocol VSI PWs from an L2VPN monitoring group.

By default, no protocol VSI PWs are bound to an L2VPN monitoring group.

Format

binding pw ldp vsi vsi-name peer peer-ip pw-id pw-id encapsulation { vlan | ethernet }

undo binding pw ldp vsi vsi-name peer peer-ip pw-id pw-id encapsulation { vlan | ethernet }

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
peer peer-ip

Specifies the IP address of a peer PE.

The value is in dotted decimal notation.

pw-id pw-id

Specifies a PW ID.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 4294967295.

encapsulation

Indicates the encapsulation type of a VSI.

vlan

Indicates that the encapsulation type is VLAN.

ethernet

Indicates that the encapsulation type is Ethernet.

ldp

Indicates that LDP signaling is used.

vsi vsi-name

Specifies a VSI name.

The value is a string of 1 to 31 characters.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To bind protocol VSI PWs to an L2VPN monitoring group and specify the PW encapsulation type, run the binding pw command.

Precautions

Static PWs cannot be bound to an L2VPN monitoring group.

Only LDP VSI PWs can be bound to an L2VPN monitoring group.
