binding interface (flexe group view)

Function

The binding interface command binds a FlexE physical interface to the FlexE group.

The undo binding interface command unbinds the FlexE physical interface from the FlexE group.

By default, no FlexE physical interface is bound to the FlexE group.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F2A.

Format

binding interface { ifname | iftype ifnum }

undo binding interface { ifname | iftype ifnum }

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
iftype

Specifies an interface type.

The value is a string of 1 to 32 characters.

ifnum

Specifies an interface number.

The value is a string of 1 to 32 characters.

Usage Scenario

To bind a physical interface in FlexE mode in a FlexE group, run the binding interface command.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

Example

# Bind the FlexE-50G 0/1/52 to the FlexE group 1.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] flexe group 1
[~HUAWEI-flexe-group-1] binding interface FlexE-50G 0/1/52
# Undo bind interface FlexE-50G 0/1/52 from FlexE group 1.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] flexe group 1
[~HUAWEI-flexe-group-1] undo binding interface FlexE-50G 0/1/52
