clock bits output-threshold

Function

The clock bits output-threshold command configures a threshold for the SSM level of clock signals sent by the BITS interface.

The default threshold is dnu.

By default, the threshold is dnu.

Format

clock bits output-threshold { prc | ssua | ssub | sec | dnu }

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
prc

Indicates that the SSM level is PRC (G.811 clock signal).

-

ssua

Indicates that the SSM level is SSUA (G.812 transit node clock signal).

-

ssub

Indicates that the SSM level is SSUB (G.812 local node clock signal).

-

sec

Indicates that the SSM level is SEC.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

This command is used to configure a threshold for the SSM level of clock signals sent by BITS interfaces. When the SSM level of clock signals sent by BITS interfaces is lower than the configured threshold, the NetEngine 8000 F blocks the BITS interfaces from sending clock signals and generates an alarm. In this manner, the NetEngine 8000 F blocks the BITS interfaces from sending clock signals with poor quality.

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

Example

# Set a threshold for the SSM level of clock signals sent by BITS interfaces to ssua.
