Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

In a CU separation scenario, the controller and forwarders communicate through CUSP channels. In this case, you need to run the controller-ip command to configure a controller-side IP address for the CUSP channel to be connected to a forwarder.

NOTE:

This command is delivered by the vBRAS-CP to the vBRAS-UP.

Prerequisites

The CUSP forwarder view has been displayed by running the cusp agent <agent-name> command.

Configuration Impact

After the controller-ip command is run on a forwarder, the forwarder and the controller establish a TCP connection for CUSP exchanges.

Precautions

This command is supported only on the admin VS.

After the undo controller-ip command is run, the related CUSP session is interrupted.

A maximum of two controller-side IP addresses can be configured.

Example

# Set the controller-side IP address of a CUSP channel to 2.2.2.2.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] cu-controller
[~HUAWEI-cu-controller] up 1024
[~HUAWEI-cu-controller-up1024] config
[~HUAWEI-cu-controller-up1024-config] cusp agent abc
[*HUAWEI-cu-controller-up1024-config-cusp-agent-abc] controller-ip 2.2.2.2
