dhcp-broadcast

Function

The dhcp-broadcast command enables the DHCPv4 packet broadcast. The broadcast here is layer-2 broadcast.

The undo dhcp-broadcast command disables the DHCPv4 broadcast and adopts the unicast mode to deliver DHCPv4 packets.

By default, the DHCPv4 packet broadcast is disabled.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

This command takes effect only when the BAS interface is a Layer 2 interface.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
