The dhcpv6 basinfo-insert cn-telecom exclude-option37-option17 command disables a device from inserting the Option 37 and Option 17 information from a client into the NAS-Port-Id attribute encapsulated in the cn-telecom format of a packet to be sent to a RADIUS server.
The undo dhcpv6 basinfo-insert cn-telecom exclude-option37-option17 command restores the default configuration.
By default, a BRAS inserts the Option 37 and Option 17 information from a client into the NAS-Port-Id attribute encapsulated in the cn-telecom format of a packet to be sent to a RADIUS server.
This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.
Usage Scenario
If the client-option82 basinfo-insert cn-telecom or client-access-line-id basinfo-insert cn-telecom command is run on a BAS interface and a packet with a relay header from a client does not carry Option 18 but carries Option 37 or Option 17 or both, the NAS-Port-Id attribute in the packet to be sent to the RADIUS server contains the following: BAS interface information encapsulated in the cn-telecom format, a space, and sub2 or sub9 or both. Sub2 contains Option 37 information, and sub9 contains Option 17 information.
However, the NAS-Port-Id attribute encapsulated into a packet to be sent to the RADIUS server by a device running an earlier version contains the following: BAS interface information, a space, and 0/0/0/0/0/0. To ensure that the content of the NAS-Port-Id attribute sent by the current device is the same as that sent by a device running an earlier version, you need to run this command.Precautions
In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
