The dhcpv6-server duid-missmatch reply command configures a BRAS device to continue to parse a DHCPv6 Renew message in which the server identifier cannot be identified.
The undo dhcpv6-server duid-missmatch reply command restores the default configuration.
By default, a BRAS device discards a DHCPv6 Renew or DHCPv6 Release or DHCPv6 Decline message in which the server identifier cannot be identified.
This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.
To configure a BRAS device to continue to parse a DHCPv6 Renew message in which the server identifier cannot be identified, run the dhcpv6-server duid-missmatch reply command. If this command is not run, the BRAS device discards the DHCPv6 Renew or DHCPv6 Release or DHCPv6 Decline message in which the server identifier cannot be identified.
By default, this command is not configured, and unknown packets are discarded.
