dhcpv6-server group(IPv6 address pool view)

Function

The dhcpv6-server group command binds a DHCPv6 server group to an address pool.

The undo dhcpv6-server group command unbinds a DHCPv6 server group from an address pool.

By default, a DHCPv6 server group is not bound to any address pool.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

dhcpv6-server group group-name

undo dhcpv6-server group

Parameters

The value is a string of 1 to 32 case-insensitive characters.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

If addresses or prefixes need to be allocated from a remote server, run the dhcpv6-server group command to bind an address pool on the remote server to a DHCPv6 server group.

Prerequisites

Before binding a DHCPv6 server group to an address pool, you need to run the dhcpv6-server group command in the system view to create the DHCPv6 server group.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

The dhcpv6-server group command can be used only in a remote address pool view.

Example

# Bind a DHCPv6 server group named huawei to a remote address pool named rpool.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] dhcpv6-server group huawei
[~HUAWEI-dhcpv6-server group huawei] quit
[~HUAWEI] ipv6 pool rpool bas remote
