Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

By default, BAS interfaces are displayed in slot/sub-slot/port format. You can run this command to check the mapping between BAS interfaces in slot/sub-slot/port and slot/port formats in the following scenarios:

  • The calling-station-id attribute encryption format supported by Redback devices is configured on a Huawei device using the radius-server format-attribute calling-station-id vendor 2352 version1 command in the RADIUS server group view.
  • The BAS interface format in calling-station-id and calling-number AVP attributes to be sent by a device is set to slot/port using the avp calling-number interface-format exclude sub-slot command in the L2TP group view.

    When you run this command:
  • If no parameter is specified, the mapping of all BAS interfaces is displayed.
  • If mapping-interface or source-interface is specified, the mapping of the specified BAS interface is displayed.
  • Only the mapping between BAS interfaces whose authentication method is PPP is displayed. Specifically, the mapping between BAS interfaces is displayed if PPP authentication is configured for either IPv4 or IPv6 users on the interfaces.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
