Function

The display interface phy-option command can view the physical features of a specified interface.

Format

display interface phy-option [ interface-name | interface-type interface-num ]

Usage Scenario

To check the physical attributes of an interface, run the display interface phy-option command. The command output information varies with different optical modules.

Port Physical Status

Physical link status of an interface.

  • Up: The interface is normally started.
  • Down: The interface is physically faulty.
  • Administratively down: If the network administrator runs the shutdown command on the interface, the status of the interface is Administratively down.
Physical layer

Physical link.

Physical Down Reason

Indicates the reason why the physical link of the interface goes Down.

Scramble

Scrambling function is enabled.

Clock

Clock mode.

CRC

Number packets that fail the CRC.

Loopback

Whether loopback is enabled. The options are as follows:

  • Local: Enable local loopback.
  • Remote: Enable remote loopback.
  • None: Loopback is not enabled.
Flag J0

Value of the J0 overhead byte.

Flag J1

Value of the J1 overhead byte.

Flag C2

Value of the C2 overhead byte.

Optical information

Basic information about the optical module.

transceiver max bw

Maximum bandwidth of the optical module.

Transmission-alarm delay(holdup-timer)

Delay for clearing an alarm. If alarm clearance messages are received within a filtering interval set using the transmission-alarm holdup-timer command, the alarm clearance messages are filtered. An alarm is cleared only when an alarm clearance message is received after the filtering interval expires.

Transmission-alarm delay(holdoff-timer)

Delay for generating an alarm. If alarm generation messages are received within a filtering interval set using the transmission-alarm holdoff-timer command, the alarm generation messages are filtered. An alarm is generated only when an alarm generation message is received after the filtering interval expires.

FEC Mode

Forward error correction (FEC) mode:

  • None FEC mode.
  • Standard(default): standard G.709 FEC mode (default).
  • Enhanced: enhanced mode.
  • Enhanced-i-7: E_FEC I/7 mode.
  • anced-i-4: E_FEC I/4 mode.
FEC information

FEC bit error ratio detection information.

OTU TTI

TTI of the received OUT.

ODU TTI

TTI of the received ODU.

Duplex mode

Duplex mode (full-duplex mode full-duplex; Half-duplex mode half-duplex).

  • Full-duplex mode: Indicates the full duplex mode.
  • Half-duplex mode: Indicates the half-duplex mode.
negotiation

Whether auto-negotiation is enabled.

Pause Flowcontrol

Whether Ethernet flow control frames are enabled.

  • Receive: Indicates whether the RX direction of the Ethernet flow control frame is enabled.
  • Send: Indicates whether the TX direction of the Ethernet flow control frame is enabled.
SFP information

Indicates the basic information about an optical module.

Carrier delay(up-hold-time)

Run the carrier up-hold-time command to set the delay time for the interface to go Up when the interface status changes from Down to Up. Otherwise, the default time is displayed.

Carrier delay(down-hold-time)

Run the carrier down-hold-time command to set the delay time for the interface to go Down when the interface status changes from Up to Down. Otherwise, the default time is displayed.
