Function

The display laser status command displays the status of the optical module laser.

Format

display laser status interface { interface-name | interface-type interface-number }

Parameters

interface-name

Specifies an interface name.

The value is a string of 1 to 64 characters.

interface-type

Specifies an interface number.

The value is a string of 1 to 32 characters.

interface-number

Specifies an interface type.

The value is a string of 1 to 32 characters.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To check whether the optical module laser is enabled or disabled actually, run the display laser status command.

The following operations affect the status of the optical module laser:

  • Run the laser turn-on command to enable the optical module laser.
  • Run the laser turn-off command to disable the optical module laser.
  • Run the laser autoshutdown enable command to configure the optical module to disable the laser automatically if it detects a link failure.
  • Run the shutdown command to deactivate the interface.
