Function

The display ip pool name command displays information about a specific address pool.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

display ip pool ip-address ip-address [ vpn-instance instance-name ]

Parameters

The value is in dotted decimal notation.
vpn-instance instance-name

Displays address pool of specified VPN instance.

The value is a string of 1 to 31 characters.

Usage Scenario

The display ip pool name command is used to view summary information about an address pool and details about idle addresses, conflicting addresses, disabled addresses, reserved addresses, and statically bound addresses. The summary information about an address pool contains the gateway address of the address pool, DNS server address, number of address sections, start IP address, end IP address, and numbers of idle addresses, used addresses, and conflicting addresses in each address section. Details about idle addresses, conflicting addresses, disabled addresses, reserved addresses, and statically bound addresses contain the current status and lease of each address.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

The display ip pool [ name <pool-name> ] vpn-instance <instance-name> command displays the network gateway and mask configuration of the IP address pool with the specific VPN instance. When the network gateway and mask configuration does not exist in the address pool, the displayed network gateway and mask configuration is displayed as 255.255.255.255, which is an invalid value.

  • N-Node: NetBIOS node type is not specified.

  • H-Node: NetBIOS node type is the hybrid (h) mode.
  • M-Node: NetBIOS node type is the mixed (m) mode.
  • P-Node: NetBIOS node type is the peer-to-peer mode.
Option-Code

Indicates an option code.
Option-Code 125

Indicates enterprise codes and case-sensitive characters of Option 125 configured in an IP address pool.

Status

Indicates the status of the IP address. The values are as follows:

  • idle: The address is not in use.
  • disable: The address is excluded.
  • conflicted decline: the decline packets from client leads to the IP address conflict.
  • conflicted radius: IP address from radius server conflicts with the IP address from the address pool.
  • conflicted inner: software error leads to the conflict of IP address.
  • used: The address is being used.

Profile-Name

Indicates the name of a remote backup profile.
Server-Name

Indicates an IP address in the address pool.

Whether the BRAS is disabled from checking whether the IP addresses assigned by the DHCP server are on the network segment to which the gateway address of the remote address pool belongs.

  • 1: disabled.
  • 0: enabled.
Timeout Count

Times of timeout.
Sub Option Count

Number of sub options.
Option 3

Whether or not the Option 3 is enabled.

Number of user-defined options configured in the address pool.

Number of force reply options configured in the address pool.

Indicates the attribute of an IP address pool. "Private" indicates a private IP address pool. "Public" indicates a public IP address pool.

The ip-attribute public command can be used to configure the attribute of an IP address pool.
UNR-Tag

Route tag of the IP address pool.

Blocked times.

Indicates the index of an IP address in the address pool.
