Function

The display optical-module extend information slot command displays current voltage/power values and alarm thresholds of all optical modules on a specified subcard or slot.

The display optical-module base information slot command displays basic information about the vendor, bandwidth, type, wavelength, and optical power of all optical modules on a specified subcard or slot.

The display optical-module extend information interface command displays current voltage/power values and alarm thresholds of all optical modules on a specified interface.

The display optical-module base information interface command displays basic information about the vendor, bandwidth, type, wavelength, and optical power of all optical modules on a specified interface.

The display optical-module extend information controller command displays current voltage/power values and alarm thresholds of all optical modules on a specified interface.

Format

display optical-module base information slot slot-id [ card card-id ]

display optical-module extend information slot slot-id [ card card-id ]

display optical-module base information interface { interface-name | interface-type interface-number }

display optical-module extend information interface { interface-name | interface-type interface-number }

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
card card-id

Displays a card ID.

The value is an integer that ranges from 0 to 4294967295.

extend

Displays current voltage/power values and alarm thresholds of all optical modules.

slot slot-id

Displays a slot ID.

The value is a string of 1 to 63 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported.

base

Displays basic information about the vendor, bandwidth, type, wavelength, and optical power of all optical modules.

Specifies an interface.

Specifies an interface type.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To perform one-click query about the fixed, version information and dynamic information of all optical modules, run the preceding commands. These commands are specially intended for querying about dynamic information (such as the threshold and real-time value for the temperature, voltage, and bias current) of the optical modules when they are faulty.

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

Optical Mode

Indicates the current working mode of the optical module. This parameter is displayed only for gray optical modules.

Transceiver Maximal BW

Bandwidth of an optical module.

Transceiver Mode

Mode of an optical module, such as single-mode, multimode, and electrical interfaces.

Transceiver Distance

Transmission distance of an optical module.

Vendor PN

Serial number of an optical module.

Vendor Name

Vendor of an optical module.

WaveLength

Wavelength of an optical module.

Rx Power

Receive optical power.

Rx Optical Power

Receive optical power.

Rx Power Warning Range

Normal range of the receive optical power. An alarm will be generated when the receive optical power is out of the range.

Rx Optical Power Total

Receive optical power total.

Rx Power Warning Range

Normal range of the total receive optical power. An alarm will be generated when the total receive optical power is out of the range.

Tx Power

Transmit optical power.

Tx Optical Power

Transmit optical power.

Tx Power Warning Range

Normal range of the transmit optical power. An alarm will be generated when the transmit optical power is out of the range.

The Optical Match Result

Match result of the optical module.

The Vendor Private Information

Private information about the optical module. If no private information about the optical module is available, "NA" is displayed.

Temperature

Temperature of an optical module.

Supply Voltage

Voltage of an optical module.

Bias

Bias current of an optical module.

PLD or Flash Initialization Fault

Whether a PLD/flash initialization fault occurs on CFP series optical modules. If such a fault occurs, abnormal is displayed. Otherwise, normal is displayed.

PLD or Flash Initialization Fault Enable

Whether the function to report a PLD/flash initialization fault is enabled for CFP series optical modules. By default, this function is enabled.

Factor/Module

Name of an optical transceiver Verder and transceiver Verder PN.

Standard

Optical module standard information.

Connector Type

Optical module connector type.
