Function

The display port-observing observe-index command displays the configuration of the observing port with a specified observe index.

The display port-observing slot command displays an observing port on an interface board in a specified slot.

Format

display port-observing observe-index [ observe-index ]

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

After you configure an observing port, run display port-observing observe-index command to view the configuration of this observing port.

To view the observing port on the interface board in a specified slot, run the display port-observing slot command. If slot-id is not specified, observing ports and their reference slot numbers of all interface board slots will be displayed.

Item	Description

reference slot	Number of the slot where the interface board with the mirroring port configured resides.
Interface	Observing port.
L-Header	Whether the packet is mirrored from the link layer header.
Obs-index	Index of the observing port.
Status	Whether the interface can function as a valid observing port. Up: The interface can function as a valid observing port. Down: The interface cannot function as a valid observing port.
Description	Description of the observing port.
Dest-MAC	Indicates the destination MAC address specified on the observing port.
