The display ppp connection-chasten command displays the settings of the limit on attempts to set up a PPP connection.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Scenario

The display ppp connection-chasten command shows the settings of the limit on attempts to set up a PPP connection, including the number of attempt failures in setting up a PPP connection, the interval for attempting to set up a PPP connection, and the time during which attempts to set up a PPP connection are blocked. If you specify quickoffline in the ppp connection chasten command, the display ppp connection-chasten command output shows quickoffline. quickoffline indicates the configured frozen time of user accounts if the users go offline immediately after going online for a specified number of times during a specified time period.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
