display ppp statistics

Function

The display ppp statistics command displays statistics about PPP packets and authentication messages.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

display ppp statistics { slot slot-id | interface { interface-name | interface-type interface-number } }

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

The display ppp statistics command can be used to display detailed information about PPP authentication packets.

Only a BAS interface or the slot where a BAS interface resides can be specified in the command. Otherwise, the system will not display command output.

NOTE:

Configuring the ui-mode type1 command in the system view influences the output format of the display command.

The command run on the main interface displays statistics about the main interface and sub-interfaces.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

RECV_ECHO_REQ_FAST

Number of received fast echo request packets. If PPP statistics are queried based on sub-interfaces, RECV_ECHO_REQ_FAST is not displayed after the ui-mode type1 command is configured.
