display service activate-fail-record

Function

The display service activate-fail-record command displays the record about failures to activate a service.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

display service activate-fail-record [ bod | daa | edsg ] [ time begin-time end-time [ date begin-date end-date ] | user-id user-id | policy-name policy-name ] *

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
bod

Indicates BOD services.

daa

Indicates DAA services.

edsg

Indicates EDSG services.

time begin-time

Specify the time that the device began to record the information.

The format is hh:mm:ss, where hh ranges from 0 to 23 and mm ranges from 0 to 59.

end-time

Specify the time that the device stopped to record the information.

The format is hh:mm:ss, where hh ranges from 0 to 23 and mm ranges from 0 to 59.

date begin-date

Specify the date that the device began to record the information.

The format is YYYY/MM/DD, standing for year/month/day.

end-date

Specify the date that the device stopped to record the information.

The format is YYYY/MM/DD, standing for year/month/day.

user-id user-id

Specify the User ID.

The value is an integer and it ranges from 0 to 283647.

policy-name policy-name

Specifies the name of the service policy.

The value is a string and it ranges from 1 to 200 characters.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

This command can display the record about failures to activate a service. Usually it is used as a troubleshooting method. When a service is deactivated, you can use this command to check the record and get the information about when the service started and the reason why it failed to be activated.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

Activate fail reason

The reason for the failure of activating this service:

  • An internal error.
  • System deny.
  • Invalid service policy name.
  • This service policy is not configured.
  • No server group is configured for downloading a service policy.
  • No password is configured for downloading a service policy.
  • Downloading the service policy is rejected.
  • Failed to send the service policy downloading request.
  • Failed to parse the downloaded service policy.
  • Failed to cache the downloaded service policy.
  • Incorrect service policy type.
  • No service group is configured.
  • Unsupported authentication-scheme.
  • No server group is available for service authentication.
  • No server group is available for service accounting.
  • No server group is available for prepaid feature.
  • No service authentication information is available.
  • Invalid service authentication information.
  • Service authentication is rejected.
  • Failed to send the service authentication request.
  • Failed to add the service.
  • Adding the service times out.
  • Unsupported authentication-scheme for prepaid feature.
  • No password is configured for prepaid authorization.
  • Unsupported accounting-scheme.
  • Unsupported accounting-scheme for prepaid feature.
  • Prepaid authorization is rejected.

  • DAA services cannot be dynamically generated.
  • The accounting type cannot be switched between uniform accounting and non-uniform accounting.
  • DAA services have different IP types and cannot be replaced with each other.
  • The service accounting status is not stable.
  • The DAA service is not the subset of the activated service.
  • BOD services cannot be updated.
  • A BOD service already exists.
  • RUI preactive time out.
  • Send user modify request fail.
  • Radius attribute process fail.
  • DAA policies with same policy names cannot switch with each other.
  • The number of users has exceeded the specification of one family.
  • Add service table fail.
  • Add service action table fail.
  • Family table conflict.
  • Create family table fail.
  • Update family table fail.
  • Service number invalid.

  • Backup modify message fail.
