emdi bind slot

Function

The emdi bind slot command binds boards to a board group.

The undo emdi bind slot command cancels the binding relationship between boards and a board group.

By default, all EMDI-capable boards are bound to the board group named _default_ but no board is bound to other board groups.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

emdi bind slot all

undo emdi bind slot all

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

As a distributed board detection solution, the EMDI detection solution requires the configuration of boards for EMDI detection. After a board group is created, run the emdi bind slot command to bind EMDI-capable boards to a board group for EMDI distributed board detection.

Prerequisites

A board group has been created using the emdi lpu-group command.

Precautions

The same board can be bound to different board groups.
