esqm filter permit

Function

The esqm filter permit command configures a packet filter function based on IP addresses for ESQM.

The undo esqm filter permit command restores the default configuration.

By default, no packet is filtered for ESQM.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

esqm filter permit ip ip-addr mask masklen

undo esqm filter permit ip ip-addr mask masklen

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
mask masklen

Specifies the mask length of the detected IP address segment.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 32.

ip ip-addr

Specifies the detected IP address segment. Other segments are filtered.

The value is in dotted decimal notation, ranging from 0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255.

Usage Scenario

After ESQM filter is enabled, only sampled packets whose source IP or destination IP matches the IP segment of the filter can support ESQM.

This function is mainly used to filter X2/Xn traffic that the base stations exchanged in the wireless network.
