flexe-clientid

Function

The flexe-clientid command configures the client-id parameter of the FlexE client, that is, the service number of the FlexE client in the FlexE group.

The undo flexe-clientid command restores the default client-id parameter of a FlexE client.

By default, the client ID of a FlexE client has not been configured.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F2A.

Format

flexe-clientid clientid

undo flexe-clientid [ clientid ]

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
clientid

Specifies a client ID, used for packet identification. The client IDs of interconnected FlexE client must be the same.

The value is an integer that ranges from 1 to 65534 .

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To ensure proper communication between interworking devices, run the client-id command on the interconnected FlexE clients to configure the same client ID.

Example

# Set the client ID of FlexE client 1 to 2345.

[~HUAWEI-flexe-client-1] flexe-clientid  2345
