The transmission-alarm down command customizes alarms for 10GE WAN interfaces globally, that is, specifies alarms that can cause a physical interface to go Down.
The undo transmission-alarm down command cancels the alarms customized for 10GE WAN interfaces globally.
By default, only LRDI, PAIS, PRDI, LAIS, LOF, and LOS alarms are enabled globally on 10GE WAN interfaces, which can cause the physical interface to go Down.
This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Parameter | Description | Value |
---|---|---|
los |
Indicates the signal loss alarm. This alarm is caused by a poor link. |
- |
lof |
Indicates the frame loss alarm. This alarm is caused by a poor physical link or low clock precision. |
- |
lais |
Indicates the line alarm. |
- |
oof |
Indicates the frame loss alarm. If consecutive five frames are not received, an OOF alarm will be generated. |
- |
lrdi |
Indicates the line remote defect alarm. |
- |
lcd |
Indicates the alarm of code group synchronization loss. |
- |
auais |
Administrative Unit Alarm Indication Signal. |
- |
b3tca |
Indicates the B3 threshold crossing alarm. |
- |
lom |
Indicates the alarm of tributary multiframe loss. |
- |
lop |
Indicates the pointer loss alarm. If consecutive eight frames received by pointer J1 are invalid, the lop alarm will be generated. |
- |
lrei |
Indicates the line remote error alarm. |
- |
pais |
Indicates the path alarm. |

b1tca |
Indicates the B1 threshold crossing alarm. |
- |
b2tca |
Indicates the B2 threshold crossing alarm. |

Usage Scenario
The frequent generation of alarms causes the physical status of an interface to continuously alternate between Up and Down and continuous network flapping. To customize alarms for 10GE WAN interfaces globally, run the transmission-alarm down command. This configuration specifies alarms that can cause a physical interface to go Down.
Precautions
In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
