peer discard-ext-community (BGP-IPv4 multicast address family view) (group)

Function

The peer discard-ext-community command configures a BGP device to discard the extended community attributes carried by routes received from a specified peer group.

The undo peer discard-ext-community command cancels the configuration.

By default, a BGP device does not discard the extended community attribute carried by any received route.

Format

peer peerGroupName discard-ext-community

undo peer peerGroupName discard-ext-community

Parameters

peerGroupName	Specifies the name of a peer group.	The name is a string of 1 to 47 case-sensitive characters, with spaces not supported. When double quotation marks are used around the string, spaces are allowed in the string.
