The hwtacacs-server template command creates a new HWTACACS server template.
The undo hwtacacs-server template command deletes the existing HWTACACS server template.
By default, the HWTACACS server template is not configured.
Parameter | Description | Value |
---|---|---|
template-name |
Specifies the name of a HWTACACS server template. |
It is a case-insensitive string data type. The value range is from 1 to 32 characters. The template name can have alphabets a to z (case insensitive) and numbers from 0 to 9 or symbols (".", "-" and "_"). |
Usage Scenario
If the template to be deleted is in use, the system prompts that the template is being used and hence cannot be deleted.
If a server template to be deleted using the undo hwtacacs-server template command is being used, release the template first.
After a server template is configured, run the hwtacacs-server shared-key command to set a shared key. To ensure the valid identities of both parties, the shared keys set on the local device and HWTACACS server must be the same.
