ike local-name

Function

The ike local-name command configures the local name of the device used in IKE negotiation.

The undo ike local-name command restores the default setting.

By default, the local name is not set.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

ike local-name local-name

undo ike local-name

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
local-name

Indicates the name of the local device.

It is a string of 1 to 255 case sensitive characters.

Usage Guidelines

The ike local-name command is required if local-id-type in the ike peer configuration is set to fqdn.

Example

# Configure the local name of the device to RT.
