ipv6 nd ra halt

Function

The ipv6 nd ra halt command disables the device from sending RA packets to IPv6 access users.

The undo ipv6 nd ra halt command cancels the configuration.

By default, the device is enabled to send RA messages to IPv6 access users.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To disable the device from sending RA packets to IPv6 access users, you can run the ipv6 nd ra halt command before IPv6 access users go online.

The ipv6 nd ra halt command in the AAA domain view applies only to IPv6 users of a domain, and the ipv6 nd ra halt command in the interface view applies only to network side users.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
