ipv6 nd ra link-prefix

Function

The ipv6 nd ra link-prefix command configures a device to send RA packets carrying the first 64 bits of the addresses assigned to IPv6 users as on-link prefixes.

The undo ipv6 nd ra link-prefix command restores the default configuration.

By default, RA packets sent to IPv6 users do not carry on-link prefixes.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

When an IPoEv6 user is online, to allow the device to advertise the on-link prefix to the IPoEv6 user, run the ipv6 nd ra link-prefix command in the AAA domain view.

Prerequisites

The ipv6-address assign { circuit-id | remote-id } * command has been run.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
