The ipv6 nd ra unicast command in the AAA domain view enables the device to send RA packets that carry unicast destination IP addresses in response to PPPv6 or L2TPv6 user access requests.
The undo ipv6 nd ra unicast command restores the default configuration.
By default, the destination IP address in an RA packet is a multicast address.
This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.
Usage Scenario
To allow the device to send RA packets that carry unicast destination IP addresses when assigning IPv6 addresses or prefixes to PPPv6 or L2TPv6 access users, run the ipv6 nd ra unicast command in the AAA domain view.
Configuration Impact
After the ipv6 nd ra unicast command is run, the device uses the source IP address in a user's ND or DHCPv6 packet as the destination IP address in an RA packet.
Precautions
In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
