The border-relay address command configures an IPv4 address for a 6RD border relay (BR).
The undo border-relay address command deletes the IPv4 address of a 6RD BR.
By default, the IPv4 address of a 6RD BR is not configured.
Usage Scenario
To configure an IPv4 address for a 6RD BR on the 6RD customer edge (CE) connected to a 6RD domain that interworks with a native IPv6 network, run the border-relay address command. The configured IPv4 address is the source address of the 6RD BR.
Prerequisites
The tunnel encapsulation mode has been set to 6RD using the tunnel-protocol ipv6-ipv4 6rd command.
Precautions
The IPv4 address configured for a 6RD BR cannot be a loopback, broadcast, or multicast address.
