The l2tp aging command sets the LNS locking duration.
The undo l2tp aging command restores the default value.
By default, the LNS locking duration is 300 seconds.
This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.
Usage Scenario
When the device attempts to set up a tunnel to an LNS but the LNS runs abnormally, the device marks the LNS as unusable and does not set up a tunnel to the LNS in a period. This period is the LNS locking duration. After the locking duration, the device attempts to set up a tunnel to the LNS again.
Precautions
In tunnel priority load-balancing scenarios, when LNS IP addresses are unreachable and the L2TP aging time is short, the penalty time is the sum of all LNS IP address timeout times, instead of the configuring L2TP aging time. Otherwise, there is a possibility that unreachable LNS IP addresses are selected, which may cause user login failures for a long time.
