l2tp lac session-limit

Function

The l2tp lac session-limit command limits the maximum number of sessions established on the L2TP LAC.

The undo l2tp lac session-limit command restores the default configuration.

By default, the maximum number of user sessions allowed on an L2TP LAC is 128K.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

l2tp lac session-limit session-limit

undo l2tp lac session-limit [ session-limit ]

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
session-limit

The maximum number of user sessions allowed on an L2TP LAC.

The value is a string of 1 to 15 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported.

Usage Guidelines

Running the l2tp lac session-limit command changes the L2TP user specifications on the LAC. Excess users cannot go online.

Example

# Set the maximum number of sessions allowed on an L2TP LAC to 32K.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] l2tp lac session-limit 32k
# Set the maximum number of sessions allowed on an L2TP LAC to 64K.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] l2tp lac session-limit 64k
