Function

The l2tp lns fast-reply enable slot command enables the tunnel board of an LNS to send packets to the network-side outbound interface board connected to an LAC based on hardware.

The l2tp lns fast-reply disable slot command enables the tunnel board of an LNS to send packets to the network-side outbound interface board connected to an LAC based on software.

By default, the tunnel board of an LNS sends packets to the network-side outbound interface board connected to an LAC based on software.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Guidelines

To reduce the CPU usage of the network-side outbound interface board connected to an LAC, run the l2tp lns fast-reply slot command so that when a large number of L2TP users log in to an LNS, the LNS does not send user packets to the CPU for processing but directly forwards them based on hardware.
