link-protocol forwarding (system view)

Function

The link-protocol forwarding command configures all interfaces of a device to forward specified packets.

The undo link-protocol forwarding command deletes the configuration of the link-protocol forwarding command to restore the original packet processing mode. Originally, interfaces of a device discard specified packets.

By default, interfaces of a device discard link-oam, eoam3ah, e-lmi, and ptp-peer-delay packets.

Format

link-protocol forwarding { eoam3ah | e-lmi | ptp-peer-delay }

undo link-protocol forwarding { eoam3ah | e-lmi | ptp-peer-delay }

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

You can run this command to configure all interfaces of a device to forward specified packets. The command run in the system view to configure interfaces to forward packets of a specified protocol has higher priority than that run in the interface view to configure interfaces to transparently transmit packets of the protocol.
