The loop-detect trigger disable command disables proactive loop detection upon an interface Up state.

The undo loop-detect trigger disable command enables proactive loop detection upon interface Up.

By default, proactive loop detection upon interface Up is enabled.

Usage Scenario

To enable or disable the proactive loop detection upon interface Up function on an interface, run the undo loop-detect trigger disable command.

Precautions

Proactive loop detection fails to take effect on interfaces that have STP, local loopback, loop detection, or loopback detection enabled.
