The mask slot command masks hardware alarms about a specified board or card.
The undo mask slot command unmasks hardware alarms about a specified board or card.
By default, hardware alarms are not masked.

Configuration Impact
After the mask slot slotid command is run, all alarms about cards on the specified board will be masked.
Precautions
In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
Masking hardware alarms about boards or cards is not recommended.
