Function

The mpls l2vpn description command configures a description for an L2VPN PW.

The mpls l2vpn description command deletes the description of an L2VPN PW.

By default, no description is configured for an L2VPN PW.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To facilitate operation and maintenance of a PW in an L2VC or SVC scenario, run the mpls l2vpn description command to configure a description for the PW.

Prerequisites

A PW has been configured using the mpls l2vc or mpls static-l2vc command.
