Function

The multicast inband-signaling mldp command enables mLDP in-band MVPN.

The multicast inband-signaling mldp command enables mLDP in-band MVPN and MVPN fast reroute (FRR).

The undo multicast inband-signaling mldp command restores the default configuration.

By default, mLDP In-Band MVPN is disabled.

Usage Scenario

mLDP In-Band MVPN is an MVPN technology that uses mLDP in-band signaling to transmit PIM SM /PIM SSM join information and uses mLDP to carry multicast and unicast services in the same VPN architecture. To enable mLDP in-band MVPN, run this command.

mLDP In-Band MVPN also support MVPN fast reroute (FRR). run the multicast inband-signaling mldp frr command to enable VPN FRR so that VPN multicast traffic can be imported to the primary and backup tunnels.

Precautions

mLDP in-band MVPN configurations and NG MVPN configurations are mutually exclusive. After mLDP in-band MVPN is configured, NG MVPN cannot be configured.

mLDP in-band MVPN configurations and Rosen configurations are mutually exclusive. After mLDP in-band MVPN is configured, Rosen cannot be configured.

mLDP in-band MVPN configurations and Extranet configurations are mutually exclusive. After mLDP in-band MVPN is configured, Extranet cannot be configured.
