nat alarm vsu-service-fault

Function

The nat alarm vsu-service-fault disable command disables the service fault log or alarm function of a board.

The undo nat alarm vsu-service-fault disable command restores the service fault log or alarm function of a board.

By default, the alarm and log functions are enabled for service faults on a board.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

nat alarm vsu-service-fault alg-resource-exhaust { log | trap } disable

undo nat alarm vsu-service-fault alg-resource-exhaust { log | trap } disable

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

By configuring the board service alarm function on service board, you can determine whether to send alarms and logs when a service board fails. Check whether alarm clearance and logs are sent after the service fault is rectified.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
