The nd-trigger command configures the function of triggering users to get online by NS/NA packets on a BAS interface.
The undo nd-trigger command disables the function.
By default, this function is disabled on a BAS interface.
This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.
Usage Scenario
When a static user or a DHCPv6 user gets offline unexpectedly, you can run the nd-trigger command on a BAS interface. After the command is run, the NetEngine 8000 F triggers the user to get online based on the IP packets sent by the user.
Prerequisites
The access type of the BAS interface is configured to be Layer 2 access.
Precautions
In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
