Usage Scenario

This command is mainly used on the gateway on the Metro Ethernet where:

  • UPE refers to the user end peer of the local VSI in HVPLS. You can run the peer peer-address [ negotiation-vc-id vc-id ] [ tnl-policy policy-name ] upe command to specify a UPE.
  • If the local device is not configured with HVPLS, the npe-upe mac-withdraw enable command is not required.
